SIBU: The 14 Chinese Independent Schools in the state is always short of fund yearly where at least RM10mil is needed for their administration purposes.
Chairman of Sarawak Chinese Independent School Committee, Temenggong Lau Lee Ming in speaking at a press conference said it was a welcome respite that Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem had shown his concern to the well-being of the schools. Lau said Adenan had previously handed over a sum of RM3mil to this type of schools in Kuching.
