Deputy Health Minister says M’sia aims to meet developed nation standards

ROMPIN: The Health Ministry is looking into creating 16,000 more beds to be on par with developed nations.

Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya said there should be 2.5 beds per 1,000 population but currently the ratio is 1.8 beds per 1,000 population.
