Long-term flood mitigation plan in the works

PERAK will come up with an effective long-term flood mitigation management plan based on Austria’s module to prevent floods in future, Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said.

He said this after meetings with officials from Austria’s Water Management Authority (WMA) and the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR) in Vienna, Austria.
