Celebrating the Malayan tapir


Cute invasion: Papier mache Malayan tapir displayed at the “Tai Shue Keok” (Big Tree Root) food stall during a promotional event for the Pesta Pinji festival that would be held from May 1 to 3.

ABOUT 85 cute and adorable papier-mâché Malayan tapirs will be showcased at the Taman Pinggir Sungai Pasir Pinji Recreational Park as part of the Pesta Pinji festival early next month.

The mini exhibition in Pasir Pinji would be held on May 2 between 4pm and 5pm, in conjunction with World Tapir Day on April 27.
