Approximately 13,000 residential and commercial units under Kajang Municipal Council’s (MPKj) jurisdiction were hit by unplanned water disruptions.

The disruption was because of soil erosion on a vacant plot of land in Sungai Langat, covering a large portion of the river that leads to the Batu 11 water treatment plant located 3km away.
