Residents unhappy tyres used to stop illegal dumping

JOHOR BARU: The decision by SW Corporation (SWCorp) and the Johor Baru Central Municipal Council (MPJBT) to place used tyres in Taman Skudai Baru to prevent illegal dumping did not go well with residents in the housing estate.

While the move is not really effective in preventing unscrupulous parties from dumping their waste, the tyres placed along Jalan Hang Lekir 22, had caused inconvenience to residents.
