Upgrade rescue works in state, says Sultan

KUANTAN: In facing the globalisation era, the Fire and Rescue Department should upgrade its facilities to better rescue works especially in remote areas and during critical situations.

Sultan Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah Sultan Abu Bakar said for the benefit of people, the matter should be taken seriously and in a big state like Pahang, for example, the department had difficulties in reaching incident sites particularly in deeper areas.
