Schoolchildren may need more pocket money to pay for canteen food

SEVERAL parents in Ipoh are claiming that prices of certain food and drinks at various school canteens have increased since the Goods and Services Tax (GST) took effect.

They also pointed out that although the prices had not increased at some schools, the portions of the food had reduced.
