KOTA TINGGI: The Marine Police have successfully crippled an attempt to smuggle in 11,000 boxes of illicit cigarettes worth RM104,170 including tax.
Its Region 2 commander Asst Comm Paul Khiu Khon Chiang said that the raid was made near a palm plantation in Simpang Belungkor here at around 12.30am Monday.
