Proof has surfaced that trustees had claimed ashram is a heritage building

THE trustees of the Vivekananda Ashram in Brickfields had previously used the term “heritage building” to solicit donations from the public, says Tan Sri Devaki Krishnan.

Devaki, who is a life member of the Sangeetha Abivirthi Sabah, a cultural arm of Vivekananda Ashram, dug up a souvenir brochure printed by the management committee more than two decades ago to back up her claim.
