Handphone trader wants back deposit collected by deceased car salesman

AHANDPHONE trader has claimed that he was cheated of RM16,133 by a car salesman who is now dead.

Penang MCA public services and complaints bureau deputy chief Tan Eng Hin said the trader, Tan Boon Piew, had alleged that he paid a deposit to the late Eric Kok Kiang for his desired car on Oct 17, 2013 when he visited the showroom for the first time.
