Sewing with love

Mothers at work: The sewing class in progress.

IN A MOVE to empower single and stay-at-home mothers, the Rotary Club of Pantai Valley is organising a charity high-tea fundraiser to help them learn the art of sewing.

President Keats Markandu said the ‘Mums Sew with Love Project’ kicked off in July last year in collaboration with the Sentul Service Centre, and 10 mothers are currently learning how to sew.
