Stepping up to serve the people

Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and wife Raja Datin Seri Salbiah Tengku Nujumuddin, who is also Pekerti chairman, greeting members and guests during the opening of the organisations 34th Annual General Meeting in Seremban recently.

COMMUNITY causes are at the heart of non-governmental organisations such as Pekerti, the association of wives of assemblymen and senior state officials in Negri Sembilan.

While their husbands launch community events, the wives who often accompany their spouses on such missions see first-hand the needs of the community and the issues that require attention.
