A HOST of activities and stage events await visitors to the FitForLife 2015 fair (formerly known as The Star Health Fair).

The fair, which starts today, is a collaboration between The Star and Great Eastern Life, and is one of the biggest in the country to showcase the latest in fitness trends and healthy living, covering all aspects of fitness, health and well-being, from diet to nutrition, exercise, stress management, beauty and aesthetics and lifestyle enhancements.

Highlights of the fair include exhibitions, health and lifestyle talks and stage activities addressing a wide spectrum of issues catering to various needs.

This year, the exhibition houses more than 70 exhibitors taking up 170 booths.

There are many activities in store for the visitors at the fair. In addition to Live Great Dodgeball Open 2015 and Live Great Street Dance Showdown, there will be free consultations and product sampling for visitors to try out from the various participating exhibitors.

Visitors who want practical tips on fitness, reducing stress levels, weight management, detox, nutrition or optimising their health can head over to Blackmores’ booth.

The team will be offering free 15-minute naturopath consultations at the booth.

The consultations will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are encouraged to register at Blackmores’ booth to secure a slot.

Simple health checks will also be available at the fair.

The public can have their body fat analysed at Marigold’s booth following purchases made in conjunction with the fair.

This includes total body fat, visceral fat and body mass index.

In addition, Marigold will also be giving out samples of Marigold 100% Juice at their booth, so this is a good opportunity to try out the range of juices they have.

Visitors can also expect lots of great offers at Guardian’s booth. Apart from the health consultation that comes with any purchase, visitors will also enjoy:

• FREE shopping bag and a PhotoBox opportunity with any purchase

• FREE Lucky Grab with purchase of RM50 and above in a single receipt

• FREE Goodie Bag with purchase of RM80 and above in a single receipt

Those who visit the fair should also take the opportunity to sign up for Great Eastern’s Live Great Card on the spot to enjoy additional privileges from their merchants.

Visitors to the booth will also get the opportunity to win fantastic prizes worth more than RM100,000. This includes an iPhone 6, Samsung Note Edge and other exciting giveaways.

SCA Hygiene Malaysia will be conducting a mini workshop on adult diapers at their booth, so this is an opportunity for visitors to find out more about the product.

In conjunction with the fair, visitors can expect free premiums and free product samples for purchases at the booth.

Visitors should also make their way to the Nestle Breakfast Cereal’s booth as there will be samplings on Nestle cereals. Nestle will also be giving out goodies and special discounts.

Free goodie bags will be given to the first 500 visitors of the fair daily, on a first-come-first-served basis.

There will be vouchers and free items in the goodie bags for the early birds to take home.

The theme for this year’s fair, “Get Fit. Live Great!”, aims to inspire Malaysians to lead a healthy lifestyle and adopt a holistic approach that includes physical and mental fitness, financial health and general fitness.
