SIBU: Sibu Municipal Council Customers’ Day 2015 will take place tomorrow at Level 1, Wisma Sanyan.
The objective of the event is to have a closer rapport with the public to better understand the operation of the council.
There are 12 sections of the council which will participate in the event.
They comprise administration & innovation, public health, human resources, parking unit, legal & enforcement, swimming pool & library unit, rating & valuation, engineering, public relations, one-stop customer service counters, building control & landscape and treasury.
The event will be commenced at 10:30am.
After the launching ceremony, all invited guests would be accompanied by the two mascots “Qing Qing” and “Jie Jie” to visit the various booths erected at the concourse area.
There are activities to encourage public participation such as lucky draw, interactive games and mystery door gifts.
For the public to check their assessment bill, the council’s one-stop customer service counters situated at Level 21, Wisma Sanyan, will be operated from 10:30am to 3:30pm.
