THE Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) has refuted claims on social media that the animals under its care are mistreated on purpose.

Its president Ricky Soong said rumours of dogs being poorly cared for had been spreading among the society’s supporters for the past week, and wished to clarify that such was not the case at the shelter.
