Timber sector’s stance confusing

I AM very confused by the position of the Sarawak timber industry on the issue of minimum wage. I find it incoherent, contradictory and, of course, self-serving.

The chairman of the Sarawak Timber Association (STA) recently stated that comprehensive studies on the impact of implementing the minimum wage have to be carried out before a review can be done.
