TUBERCULOSIS (TB) is not an incurable disease and early diagnosis and medication can help patients lead normal lives.

Dr Irfhan Ali Hyder Ali, who is Penang Hospital Respiratory Department chief, said that people tended to seek treatment for the disease only after trying medication for persistent coughs.
