KUCHING: Developers of residential properties have been urged to minimise the increase in house prices despite rising costs in the supply chain following the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) president Joseph Wong Kee Liong encouraged developers who had the financial capabilities to, if possible, absorb the GST on the cost of building materials that could not be passed on to purchasers.
