Adorable designs: There are plenty of choices in the garments section for babies and young children.

THOSE looking for fashionable and affordable attire should check out Tesco Malaysia’s selection.

The hypermarket has given its apparel line a makeover with designs that appeal to everyone.

The Fashion@Tesco line ranges from basic wear and sportswear to formal wear.

Among the changes is a revamp of the Blaze and Sejati line, with an introduction of plus-size clothing that fits UK size 16 to 24 with prices from RM19.90 onwards.

Sejati is targeted at the modern Muslimah and comprises baju kurung, tunics, maxi dresses and palazzo pants.

It is mainly for women and girls with men’s styles, available during the Raya season.

According to F&F clothing brand manager Evelyn Ng, Tesco’s in-house brands Assign and F&F had not been forgotten as there are fresh styles for both men and women.

Prices for these two brands’ basic wear begin from as low as RM10.90.

Ng said Tesco wanted to cater to a larger demographic.

The young ones have not been forgotten either, with plenty of choices available for babies and children.

One of the highlights is the hypermarket’s collaboration with favourite characters such as Mr Monopoly, Mr Men and Little Miss as well as superheroes from the Marvel Universe.

“We also refresh our designs every 13 weeks,” said Ng, adding that they followed the themes of spring, summer, autumn and winter for their designs.

“But this does not mean that we bring in clothes for each particular season.

“What we do is follow the theme colours of those seasons.

“For example, brighter colours such as yellow and orange are usually featured in spring and summer while blue and grey are highlighted in autumn and winter,” said Ng, adding that the company would soon launch its Hari Raya range and the identity of the local designer it worked with.

Tesco’s apparel selection is available at all of its outlets.
