THE Kedah government will embark on an advocacy programme to help ketum leaf planters shift to alternative crops.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir said he did want to see Kedahans being arrested as the offence would soon be gazetted under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which carried a heavy penalty.
