THE operating hours of the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) multi-storey car park in Beach Street have been extended to 24/7 to cope with the high demand for parking spaces in the vicinity.
Council Financial Management Committee alternate chairman Joseph Ng said the car park would operate with a new autopay parking system throughout the year.
