SP Setia Foundation, through its Setia Volunteer Club, came together to create magical moments for children from four homes.
The club is made up of SP Setia employees fondly known as Team Setia.
Joining forces with the foundation in this meaningful event were members of Malaysia Blue Jackets, who spent the day taking the children on rides in their supercars around the Setia Alam township.
The children were from Rumah Amal Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Persatuan Rumah Kebajikan Rita, House of Love and Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Semenyih at Setia City Convention Centre.
The joy on the children’s faces was evident as they got out of the supercars after their ride.
The little ones even prepared special “thank you” mementos for the supercar owners.
SP Setia Foundation chairman Tan Sri Dr Wan Mohd Zahid Mohd Noordin was present at the event together with acting president and chief executive officer Datuk Khor Chap Jen and SP Setia Berhad executive vice-president Raymond Yap.
“It warms my heart to see so many caring hearts come together to bring joy and happiness to those less fortunate.
“This sums up the core of what we do at SP Setia Foundation” said Wan Mohd Zahid.
After the supercar rides, the foundation hosted a buffet lunch for the children and guests at Setia City Convention Centre.
Members of Team Setia were seen playing with the children, ensuring they have a good time,
Some of the children also put on various musical performances to the delight of those present.
After lunch, the children were treated to a surprise birthday party complete with cake, party hats, food, drinks and presents.
At the end of the event, a photography session was held.
