Forest fires giving Kuala Baram residents sleepless nights

MIRI: Unscrupulous people are resorting to burning large tracts of bush land and agriculture wastes at night in the Kuala Baram district in northern Sarawak.

These night fires are resulting in intense air pollution not only during the night but also during the early hours of the morning, with the ashes blown into Miri City and its outskirts.
