New workshop a boon for those involved in tools production

IRONSMITH and craftsmen in the quiet and traditional village of Pekan Darat in Butterworth are now better equipped with the opening of a modern workshop specialising in steel tools production.

The workshop dubbed Kompleks Warisan Pandai Besi Pekan Darat houses 38 types of machines that are capable of making tools such as knives for rubber tapping, harvesting oil palm as well as farm tools.
