ALTHOUGH a sizable group of residents turned up for the Saturday fire prevention and awareness workshop at Kampung Baru Chempaka, village headman Theresa Lim hoped to see more younger residents participate.

“We need younger people to learn about these techniques as well, as the knowledge will also protect their homes,” said Lim after a short series of talks and demonstrations by personnel from the Damansara Utama fire station in SS2.
