WITH the noble cause of feeding the needy, the final semester students of Disted School of Hospitality Management are organising Project Cha’Rice (Charity Rice), featuring rice-themed walk and run events on April 19 in Penang.
“The rice and other non-perishable food products collected from donors and sponsors will be channelled to the poor through The Lighthouse, Kechara Soup Kitchen and House of Hope,” project president Walter Tan told a press conference at the Disted School of Hospitality Management in Bangunan Wawasan, George Town.
