KUCHING: The Federal Cabinet has been urged to approve the Bumiputra Minority Technical Committee’s recommendation to replace “lain-lain” with the term “Dayak” in government official forms.
Bandar Kuching MP Chong Chieng Jen said he received a reply from Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Joseph Entulu to a question in Parliament on Wednesday that the committee had agreed on March 5 to recommend the use of “Dayak” to the Cabinet for approval.
