KUCHING: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) has obtained nearly RM2mil for two flood-mitigation projects and is awaiting funding approval for five more projects.
Mayor Datuk James Chan said the council recently submitted the seven projects to the Prime Minister’s Department for special funding, following requests from the residents who had been affected by flash floods.
