Final product: The Setapak sports complex will be built on a 3.8ha piece of land. The facilities include an Olympic-sized swimming pool, football field, 10 badminton courts, two futsal courts, indoor rock climbing facility, three multipurpose halls and 84 hostel rooms.
Setapak will finally have a state-of-the-art modern sports complex built in the township. However, the affordable housing component promised earlier will be built in Sentul instead.
