Orange-tossing fest a huge success in Bercham


A 24 traditional chinese drum performance with powerful drumbeats performed during the Chap Goh Mei festival celebration at Glamour Square Bercham.

THE recent Chap Goh Meh festival in Bercham has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the “Largest Participation in a Mandarin Oranges Throwing Event”.

Organising chairman Tony Goh said about 5,000 people tossed mandarin oranges into a 2.1m wide and 60.9m long artificial “river” outside Glamour Square Shopping Mall to achieve the feat on Thursday.
