THE committee of the Sri Maha Madurai Veeran temple in Jalan Harapan, Section 19 Petaling Jaya, has been given 14 days effective Feb 23 to vacate the premises for operating illegally.

A notice issued by the Petaling District Land Office to the committee stated that the temple was operating on government land without the approval of the land administrator or the state authority, thus violating Section 425 of the National Land Code 1965.
