CHINESE inmates at the Pokok Sena Prison in Kedah had the rare opportunity of celebrating the Chinese New Year with their loved ones in the prison compound.
The 18 male and female inmates, selected for the occasion for being well-behaved, put on an energetic lion dance performance accompanied by music played with instruments such as rebana ubi for drums and crash cymbal as gong.
