Adenan says term can replace ‘lain-lain’ in the race column of forms

KUCHING: Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem has no objections to the use of the term “Dayak” to replace “lain-lain” in the race column of government forms, as called for by various Dayak groups and individuals.

He said it was up to Sarawak’s native communities to decide what term they preferred to use in place of Bumiputra Iban, Bumiputra Bidayuh and Bumiputra Orang Ulu which he had proposed earlier.
