They must be in JPEG format with file size not exceeding 15MB, and at least 3000x2000 pixels in dimension.
Jointly organised by Kelab Anak Pulau Pinang and Allspire Photography, the contest offers a cash prize of RM2,000 to the winner.

There are also 10 outstanding awards of RM300 each.
In a recent press conference at the Penang Teochew Association’s Han Jiang Ancestral Temple in Chulia Street, Allspire founder Joie Koo pointed out that only minor touch ups to photos would be allowed.
This includes cropping, adjustment of contrast, brightness and colour, as well as sharpening or softening.
Digitally superimposed, composited, high dynamic range and trick images are forbidden.
There is no fee for entries which must be submitted together with personal particulars to firstname.lastname@example.org before March 8.
The email title should follow the format ‘My World Heritage, George Town - (contestant’s full name)’, while photo files must be named according to ‘(contestant name)-(full IC number)-(entry number)’.
Koo said the contest was aimed at educating the public on George Town’s unique values.
“We are looking for images that tell a story and can promote the city to the world,” added Khor.
There was also a talk on the city at the George Town World Heritage Site presented by the Penang Heritage Trust’s Lim Gaik Siang.
