All out to curb dengue

THE dengue situation in Petaling Jaya has become so serious that acting Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) mayor Puasa Md Taib has asked councillors to focus fully on curbing the spread of the disease.

“We only had seven dengue-related deaths the whole of 2014 in Petaling Jaya. But in January and February this year, we have had the same number of fatalities already,” Puasa said, adding that three victims died this week.
