Concession agreement extension dashes hopes of Petaling Jaya residents

Extension received: Kidex proposed NKVE Damansara interchange

THE hopes of Petaling Jaya residents living along the proposed route for the Kinrara-Damansara Elevated Expressway (Kidex) were dashed upon reading that the highway’s concession agreement (CA) had been extended by another nine months.

For Mong Yin King and her neighbours living on Jalan 17/21 in Petaling Jaya Section 17, the extension meant a further nine months of worry and sleepless nights.
