Hoe Huat Electrical Enterprise has opened its biggest flagship store at Kota Damansara to serve as a one-stop premium electrical outlet.
Its director Ryan Kwan Wei Chin said the 10,000sq ft shop was different from other branches because of its concept and products.
“With a bigger space, we are able to show our customers that appliances are not only for practical reasons but also for aesthetics,” he said during the launch of the store at Encorp Strand Mall recently,
He said they wanted to help improve customers’ lifestyle in terms of their health and enjoyment of the product.
“In terms of the health aspects, we offer products such as air and water purifier.
“As for the enjoyment of the products, we have various designs to suit customers’ houses and preferences,” he said.
Ryan also said that the store comprised a Samsung brand shop, Bosch brand store with a live kitchen concept where they can conduct cooking classes for customers and had the latest and largest screen TVs from brands such as Samsung, Sony, Panasonic and Sharp.
“We also have a large array of ceiling fans and fridges,” he said.
He added that they were planning to open three new outlets in Penang, Johor and Sabah respectively within the next two years.
Hoe Huat was founded by Ryan’s father Kwan You Kee in 1968, providing servicing and repairs of bicycles.
Subsequently in 1978, driven by the downtrend in the bicycle business, You Kee converted Hoe Huat’s core business into trading of home appliances. In 2006, the company was handed over to Ryan for further growth and expansion.
Today, Hoe Huat has expanded to eight outlets in the Klang Valley and represents more than 50 home appliances brands.
