Perodua and dealers bring joy to residents at old folks’ homes

In conjunction with the Year of the Goat, Perodua visited 38 senior citizens from two homes in Seremban for a day of fun-filled activities.

Perodua’s 1Southern Premier Club also gave ang pow and goodie bags to every resident in the old folks’ homes, namely Chok Lam Kun Yam Temple in Rantau and Pusat Penjagaan Warga Usia Emas Tong Sim in Seremban.

The 1Southern Premier Club is a special club set up by Perodua and its dealers located in Malacca, Negri Sembilan and Johor to raise funds for those in need.

“These contributions are our way of giving back to Malaysians as well as spreading a little cheer and joy during Chinese New Year,” Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.

Aminar added that a total of 15 Perodua volunteers took part in the one-day activity which included a grooming session followed by indoor games and a yee sang toss.

“We are very honoured that our dealers from Consomac and OSSB have taken the initiative to join us in this corporate responsibility programme.”

“I would also like to wish Gong Xi Fa Chai to all those celebrating the Lunar New Year and may the Year of the Goat bring health, wealth, peace and prosperity to all,” Aminar said.
