New lookout point in Puncak Setiawangsa

No cars on hilltop: An artist’s impression of the proposed Puncak Setiawangsa lookout point. The lookout point can only be accessed from the bottom of the hill.

A new lookout point is being built at the site of the Puncak Setiawangsa landslide which occurred in 2012.

Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib said the RM3mil cost of the lookout point would be shared equally between Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), I&P Sdn Bhd and the Federal Government.
