KUDAT: The Kudat branch office of the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry has issued compounds to 12 business premises owners for flouting the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011 and the Weights and Measures Act 1972.
The chief enforcement officer at the branch, Nurinah Endem, said they were among the 2,480 premises in the district that were inspected following the launch of the “Ops Catut” operation on Jan 15.
