Employers encouraged to register workers


PAHANG: Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB), an Agency under the Ministry of Human Resources (MoHR) that administers the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), organised an Integrated Operation in collaboration with the Labour Department (Peninsular Malaysia) and Social Security Organisation (Socso) in their efforts to ensure that employers in Cameron Highlands comply to the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act, 2001, Employment Act, 1955, National Wages Consultative Council Act 2011, Employees Social Security Act 1969 and other eleven Acts.

Ops Sayang, an initiative under the 1 Visit Policy is part of the Integrated Operation led by Labour Department (Peninsular Malaysia). Through this initiative, all Departments and Agencies under the Ministry of Human Resources will gather to conduct the compliance examination of the Acts. Ops Sayang is the continuation of the amnesty period under the PSMB Act, 2001, that ended last year on November 30.
