Affin Islamic Bank Berhad recently contributed RM350,000 from its zakat funds to Wakaf Desa Fahmi, a centre that offers shelter and accommodation to the hardcore poor, homeless, neglected Muslims, and tahfiz students.

The centre that was built over a 0.6ha land, consists of 26 units of three-bedroom linked houses and one bungalow, which is able to occupy 200 less fortunate people in dire need of shelter and accommodation.
