SIBU: The S15 subisidised rice will be sold again in the central region of the state in February following the Sibu Rice Wholesalers Association’s appeals to the Agriculture and Agro-Based Ministry.
Association chairman Lau Sik King told at a press conference yesterday that the ministry had agreed to supply 1,630 tonnes of the rice for distribution to the 47 wholesalers in the region, including those in Sibu, Mukah, Dalat, Matu, Daro, Sarawak, Kapit, Song, Meradong, Sarikei, Bintangor and Selangau.
