JOHOR BARU: A beauty consultant has lodged a police report, claiming that her former boyfriend is harassing her as he is jealous that she has found someone new.

Besides sending her intimidating text messages, the 36-year-old Indonesian woman who is a Malaysian permanent resident said the man had also splashed red paint at her house patio.

His text messages stated that he would knock her down with his car if he chanced upon her with her new boyfriend, she claimed.

“He had also purposely knocked my car that was parked outside,” she told a press conference organised by Johor MCA public service and complaints bureau chief Kua Song Tuck yesterday.

Her new 29-year-old boyfriend, who owns an employment agency, was also present.

She alleged that her former boyfriend, who previously worked as a welder but was now jobless, had been stalking her for the past two months.

“I guess he is jealous as he thought that no guy would want to go out with me again after we broke off about two months ago,” she said.

She said had lodged nine police reports for the past one month.

The latest one was on Jan 12 at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah police station.

Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Police Mohd Khamsani Abdul Rahman, when contacted, confirmed the report and said police were looking into the case.
