FASHION apparel manufacturer N2 Jeansmaker Sdn Bhd has donated RM100,000 to SMJK (C) Heng Ee Penang as development fund for its branch which is being built in Bayan Lepas.
Its executive director Kenny Yeap said the company, which is the exclusive licensee of international denim brand Lois for Malaysia, was not only interested in making profit but has the community in its heart too.
“We hope that the community would also give their support and donate generously so that the school can be completed as soon as possible,” he said in his speech during the Lois Party 2015 at the company’s headquarters in Hala Kampung Jawa 1 in Bayan Lepas recently.
Yeap and other directors of the company handed over the donation to the school representatives.
Yeap said SMJK (C) Heng Ee was special to him as he and his father, Datuk Yeap Beow Chong, studied in the school.
Hundreds of dealers, guests, business partners and bankers attended the party which was held as part of a three-day convention which included a discussion on the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The attendees were treated to a sumptuous dinner and entertained by SMJK (C) Heng Ee’s school band and harmonica band, a flash mob dance, a live band and a fashion show to showcase the latest collection by Lois.
