JOHOR BARU: A beauty consultant is appealing to her former boyfriend to stop harassing her and to leave her alone as she is now happy after finding a new love again.
Liedy, a 36-year old Indonesian of Chinese decent claimed that Lee Beng Tien has been stalking her for the past two months after he found out that she is now going out with another man.
“I guess he is jealous as he thought that nobody will want to go out with me again after we broke off about two months ago,” she said recently.
Liedy, who is now a Malaysian permanent resident, said Lee started sending several SMSes one month ago threatening “to knock her down with his car” if he happened to see her with the new lover.
“Apart from sending the SMSes, he also splashed red paint on my house patio and also purposely knocked my car which was parked outside,” she told a press conference organised by Johor MCA public service and complaints bureau chief Kua Song Tuck together with her new boyfriend Alfian Wira Yudha Bastian Amir.
She believed that Lee, 29, who worked as a welder before and is now unemployed, could not accept the fact that she was now going out with Alfian, also 29, an owner of a foreign employment agency.
Liedy said she and Lee were dating for two years from 2012 until 2014, and they even stayed together in her house at Taman Nusa Bestari here but split last December.
“We are not destined to be together and I hope he will look for another girl and may be this year’s Valentine he will find a new love,” she said.
Leidy, who is now living in fear, has so far lodged nine police reports for the past one month.
The latest one was on Jan 12, at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah police Find station.
Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Police Mohd Khamsani Abdul Rahman when contacted confirmed the report and police are looking into the case.
He said so far no arrest have been made.
