Pensonic’s Fun Charity “Bake”-Day Bash with Amber Chia was the company’s way of rewarding its loyal customers and showing its appreciation to those who supported the “Amber Chia Mesmerized by Pensonic” series.

Winners from Pensonic‘s Fun Charity “Bake” Day Bash with Amber Chia Instagram Contest last October were invited to be part of the “Bake”-Day Bash.

The event was a very important one for Chia as it coincided with her birthday.

Chia, who loves children, said, “Thanks to Pensonic and Les Petits Chefs for giving me this opportunity to celebrate my birthday earlier by baking cookies with the winners of this contest and sharing them with orphans, making this birthdaya memorable one.

“I am so happy and I am sure the winners who joined me in this event feel the same joy after seeing the cheerful smiles on the children’s faces when we shared the delicious treats we baked for them.”

Winners of the contest, who got to bring a friend each, joined children from Persatuan Rumah Kanak-Kanak Ini Di Sayangi (Rumah KIDS), Subang Jaya for an enjoyable day baking cookies and having fun with Chia at the Les Petits Chefs New Cafe and Baking Activity Centre in Setia Walk. The cookies were then distributed to 30 children from Rumah KIDS.

Owners of Les Petits Chefs, Su and Patricia, taught the winners and orphans to bake chocolate chip cookies and make creative decorations for the gingerbread man.

Su said, “We are thrilled to share our passion for baking by teaching children to bake. Everyone here is having so much fun too.”

After the baking session, the winners and the children, along with Chia, participated in games organised by Pensonic.

The children put together a dance performance for Chia and later, the contest winners joined them to surprise Chia with a birthday cake and song. The cake was baked by Les Petits Chefs public relations and fundraising director Davin Jansen, who also presented Chia with a “Birthday Wishes Booklet” made by the children.

Pensonic executive director Nelson Chew said, “We are happy to organise, sponsor and celebrate our Pensonic friend Amber Chia’s birthday and share the treats made in this very meaningful, memorable and fun event with orphans from Rumah KIDS.”

Pensonic also generously sponsored the entire Chef Room range in Les Petits Chefs’ Baking Activity Centre as well as 22 home appliances for Rumah KIDS.

The main objective of Pensonic’s collaboration with Les Petits Chefs is to provide free classes for children to learn and earn a living through baking.
