ABOUT 500 families in Dengkil received new colourful earthen pots, an integral feature of Ponggal, to celebrate the end of the harvest season.
These families living in Taman Permata, Taman Dengkil Jaya, Taman Dengkil, Desa Dengkil, Kampong Baru Selangor Dredging, Taman Sri Dengkil and Taman Baiduri, also recieved packets of milk, rice, mung dhall, ghee, cashew nuts, raisins and cardamom powder.
