MORE often than not, water heater systems at home are blamed for causing electrocution but Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia (TEEAM) claims this is not entirely the case.

TEEAM property management chairman and safety committee member Ho Khai Hong said the misconception stems from a misunderstanding on how the residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB) works.
